Beaches:

The whole of Tel Aviv’s west side is one long beach divided into smaller sections and named after the street or hotel nearby.

Hof Hatzuk charges an entrance fee and has very good facilities. This beach is in the north part of Tel Aviv and not walkable from the center of the city.

Metzitzim Beach is also known as the Sheraton beach. The facilities at this beach are decent, there is a beach bar and a new children’s playground.

The Separated Beach is designated for the use of the orthodox religious people and there are days for men only and days for women only. It is a nice beach opened to everybody on Saturdays as the religious people are not allowed to go to the beach anyway on Saturdays.

Atzmout Beach is a narrow strip that is kind of gay and dogs allowed beach. It is not an organized beach and gays just chose to meet there.

Hilton Beach has a breakwater and there are practically no waves. There is a beach bar and restaurant.

Gordon Beach is a nice and clean beach, with a Ben & Jerry Ice cream stand, a café, bar right there on the beach nice for sunset drinks and morning snacks, and a gym on the beach too.

Frishman Beach is also a very beautiful and clean beach with nice beach beds.

Nightlife:

Night life in Tel Aviv begins late, with people usually beginning to party at 11 p.m. This is considered early; with parties warming up at 2 a.m. Tel Aviv has acquired fame in the clubbing world during the last decade. Many international DJs now perform in Tel Aviv regularly and the clubbing scene in Tel Aviv is a vibrant and bustling business.

The leading car rental agencies in Israel are Avis, Budget, Sixt, and Eldan.
